    Immigration marriage laws
Married for 17 yr's. Husband was in the US illegally. He was deported back to Mexico due to a drug charge. I or have I ever been really married to him? Can this be annulled if so.

Yes, his immigration status has nothing to do with the legality of your marriage.

You would file for an annulment IF you have grounds (and I doubt you do after 17 years) according to the Laws of your State.

What are your grounds for an annulment?

You may file for a divorce, but why ?

Is it his criminal charges ? I will assume you knew he was an illegal.

Most couples in love and married 17 years would find a way to make it work, have you considered moving to his country
