48" Toro Z-Turn w/ 21 Kawasaki. Working fine Thur. ran it for about four hours. Parked it. Tried to crank it this Tues. (5days), it won't turn over, nothing. Jumped it, let it run for thirty minutes or so.. Tried to engage the blade drive, the mower tried to die.. I tried again, same result. Checked underneath, nothing! Running strong. Tried the blades again, it tried to die again. Re-loaded it, turned it off. Dead! What's my problem? Battery? Ty!

Yes if battery is dead mower will not engage.

Thanks DG, I'm going to get it tested and replace (if need be)it tomorrow. I'll let you know if that was it. Thanks again for the quick response!
