Has anyone tried Ambrotose for this IBD? Or, what else has been effective in controlling this?

The best study-based evidence for the treatment of Collagenous and Lymphocytic Colitis (CC or LC) is the use of budesonide and bismuth subsalicylate. However, treatment options for CC or LC are often impaired by the fairly frequent occurrence of spontaneous remission of symptoms.

If you are not responding to your current theraphy, you should consult with your doctor, you may require a stronger medication and should be evaluated for other conditions that may mimic LC or CC clinically. Generally, however, 1 month should be allowed before deeming a particular medication ineffective in the treatment of CC or LC.
