I recently purchased a 1988 accord,and it idles terrible.I have installed the following items to correct of no avail=new cap(distributer),wires,pcv valve,adjust timing,fuel filters ,heard problem could be,vac. Leak=i can't find one,and now another possible solution the ignitor? Could I ask does anyone know where this is located or is there possibly another thing I should investigate?

Personally, I would breath new life into the ignition system and replace the igniter, coil, rotor, and NGK spark plugs. The igniter should be inside the distributor. You want to also check the Idle Air Control (IAC) Valve. If you do all of this, you should solve your problem and be in great shape for years to come.
