Circuit detective should I buy it
Have an entire circuit out.(6 outlets) cannot see any breakers
That have tripped? I wonder if the circuit detective will tell me
What breakers are involved. Even if the circuit is dead??

A lot of times the breakers don't flip all the way. Wiggle them and you may find one a little looser than the others. Snap it all the way off and then back on. A circuit detective will only work if the connection back to the box is complete. If you have a broken wire it won't. You may want to get a tester that senses power and lights up. Sperry HST 401, at HD for $10 works well. I use it to trace lines in the boxes. Usually a back wired outlet or broken wire is at fault.
