Latley my husband has been hiding things from me and I just do not know what to do
I found out my husband had a slight affair a few months back and I have forgiving him but the other day I found an e-mail account he set up that I did not know about. At first he said he had no idea about what I was talking about but later on that night he finally confessed that he did set it up to try to buy me something with out me finding out. That is all good but he also said he doesn't remember what his pass word is so I can't even look at it to see what he has been up too. Mind you he only set it up a few days ago so I really don't get how he all of a sudden can't remember. What should I do??

Your husband already proved to you that he can't be trusted. He is lucky you are still with him. His flimsy excuses sound a little suspicious at best, so keep on top of this, the guy sounds like he's hiding something. And really he has no one to blame for your lack of trust but himself.. After someone cheats on their spouse, they have to work 5 times as hard to regain trust. So this sneaky behavior sounds kind of fishy to me.

And by the way, what the heck is a "slight affair". That's like saying someone is slightly dead. An affair is an affair.

There is no such thing as a "slight"
Affair. He either slept with someone else or he didn't.

You have to have trust or the marriage is doomed and I would also question his motive for "forgetting" a password.

Either get out or invest into some computer spy ware

Maybe he is having another slight affair.
    Do you trust him?

What you do know, is that he has not been honest, he cannot be trusted.

He only confessed to an affair, because you found out. Not likely he would have fessed up.

He then further cracked the foundation of your marriage, by setting up an email account, and giving you a really flimsy excuse, and added to that, that he suddenly forgot his password.

If I were you, I'd stop snooping, and start talking.

If you don't want the truth, then do nothing, justify it all away, and live a blissfully naïve life with your chosen one.

If your instinct and your gut and what you know so far is telling you that things are not adding up, and you want answers, hire a PI to see what he's up to.

You might also want to ask him where the gift is he was going to buy you online using his new email account, you know the one that he forgot the password? But don't be too hard on him, I'm sure he just "slightly forgot" that password.

Okay I may be dumb about something's, but how hard is it to retrieve a forgotten password? Or change it to gain access? You swallowed a bunch of hooey.

Press for the truth, and act on the facts.

Go into the new email and click 'forgot password' nothing wrong there, you are retrieving it for him. Print everything you see, like the receipt for your present:rolleyes: so that he will have a record when it arrives.:)

Maybe he has a "slight" memory loss caused by his "slight affair".

Frankly I would have left then.
