    Overt act of conspiracy
I'm getting charge with conspiracy to burglary and theft. I had nothing to do with it so but the only thing is is that they told me about it after they did it even though I was already on my way home. I tried to stop them and even warned my friends I had nothing to do with it and not to do anything stupid

    Hello k:

If you had nothing to do with it, then you're cool. You're right. The state has to prove you made an "overt act" in furtherance of the conspiracy. If you didn't DO that, you have nothing to worry about.

That said, I'd worry LESS if I had a GREAT criminal attorney in my corner.
