How should I relocate a sewer gas vent pipe going through roof?
I am finishing out my attic space and there is a vent pipe right in the middle of my room.

That's kind of tough but n ot impossible. A few questions. What material is the pipe? Can you remove the flooring to elbo the vent over to a wall where it can be brought up past the ceiling to reconnect to the pipe exiting the roof? Let me know, Tom

Its PVC. It elbo's at about 45 degrees right out of floor. Then up through roof. If I put a 90 on it will it still vent? I could run it under subfloor.

That's the way I'd do it. Don't forget you'll have to have slope on the vent line from the roof past the sub floor until it turns down. Good luck, Tom
