    Bradfordwhite pilot won't stay lit
    I have bradfordwhite water heater model # m1403s6en12 pilot won't stay lit changed thermocouple 3 times but continue with problem, was wondering if there is a recall and if so if there is gas valve kit to fix problem

    If the thermocouple's positioned correctly then I would check to see if I had a drip loop, (moisture trap) installed either next to the meter or next to the heater gas inlet as shown. (see image)
    A drip loop is simply a inverted tee with a 6 or 8" piece of pipe hanging down with a cap on the end.
    It's there to collect any moisture before it gets to your pilot lite and snuffs it out.
    To check, shut the gas off at the meter and remove the cap. If water drains out you have located your problem. Now, Teflon Tape the threads, screw the cap back on and turn on the gas.
    Take some detergent and paint around the threads on the cap to check for a leak. Bleed the air out of the line and light the pilot light. Better now? Good luck, Tom
