    submerged breakwater design
    Hi

If you can elaborate a bit more with your question I may be able to answer you as we are dealing with diamond diving at our training school

If I cannot answer your question, maybe I can get someone who can as I have links with the various universities in southern africa.

    submerged breakwater design
    Hi

From what I can ascertain from your question, it would be a concrete "Dolos" as it is called in South Africa.

It is a concrete structure designed to stop the breakwater from destroying a pier or jetty, or even from eroding land where it has been reclaimed.

If you are really interested come back to me and I will do a little more research for you.

    Hi,
a submerged breakwater design is not simillar to that of a non overtopping breakwater.in this case there is no free board.please go through the "ciria mannual" and use vandermeer & pilarzyc formula to obtain spectral stability number which depends on damage level, height of rubble mound from bed & water depth at structure.once u do this check the relation between stabiity number & hudson equation, wave length & equivalent median stone diameter.once uget diameter u can calculate armour weight.hope this answers your question.
