It's a bit of a long story.. but please help. I don't know what to do :(

First you have to know my 'bestfriend' is usually mean to me and hits me for no apparent reason and isn't much of a best friend but I really have no choice... (I sound like a wuss but its really complicated if you know what I mean)

At first my 'bestfriend' was together with this boy and I was really happy for them but I have always liked this boy. After a while this boy dumped my 'bestfriend' because she was being really mean and she liked someone else. So then this boy told me that he liked me. I asked my best friend if she was OK with me liking him and she said yes so I admitted to him that I liked him back. Ever since we have been bf/gf. But everyday at school my 'bestfriend' flirts with him and 'stealing him away' and stuff and he goes along with it. It is really obvious that my best friend still like him but I'm not sure about the boy... I don't have the guts to ask him because he might break up with me and I don't want to lose him :(

Any suggestions?

Your best friend isn't much of a friend.

She sounds quite nasty, and her behaviour with your boyfriend is inappropriate.

He sounds flaky. To openly flirt and go with your best friend, doesn't make him sound too bright, or mature enough to be in a relationship.

You may be afraid to lose him, and that is sad that you accept such poor behaviour from him, just to have a boyfriend. What's the point.

What are you really losing.

I would drop them both, work on developing better standards for myself, and move on.
