My eight month old female labradoodle has a stringy mucus hanging from her peepee area after she pees. She doesn't always have this, but sometimes she does. Is this normal, and if not, what should I do?

Occasionally, when my 8 month old labradoodle urinates, she has a stringy mucus hanging from her. What could this be, and should I be concerned?
Sounds like an infection. Either bladder or some sort of yeast, could be worms as well. Best to get it checked by your vet.
