Hey all. I've been racking my brain trying to figure out how to fix my AC problem. I own a 93 Accord. It has 240K miles. I live in FL, and the summers can be quite brutal. Anyhow, I would really appreciate some feedback to my problem. I just finished a bunch of maintenance on this old girl, and most recently replaced the main relay to remedy some fueling issues. But, was also hoping it would alleviate my AC problem. The idle seems to drop every time I turn on the AC. I watched the needle go all the way down to 200 rpm, and almost to the point of stalling. Oddly, it only happens when the vehicle is at a stop. It still blows cold, and I don't suspect any signs of freon leakage. I'd hate to have to purchase a new compressor, so if anyone can lend me your two cents, I'd be most grateful.

Replace the Idle Air Control Valve (IACV).
