Saturated Fat: 2% Milk vs. French Fries
I keep seeing this ad on TV that says a glass of 2% milk has as much saturated fat as a small order of french fries.

Is that really true? Is it a fair apples to apples comparison as far as saturated fat goes?

Personally, while many people do need to watch their fat intake... you also have to consider the additional mutritional content of the foods you compare.

2% milk has a far greater up side nutritionally than do French Fries when you compare them to each other.

From the staurated fat end of it... true fat is fat... but there can be qualities of the food that balances out that saturated fat with Unsaturated fat, and other good fats. Not sure either of these choices here would apply on that aspect.
