Can Doctors still prescribe Hydroquinone 4% uk?
I have Melasma after giving birth 5 months agao. I went to the Sk:n Clinic and saw a Dermatoligist and he prescribed Hydroquinone 4 %. I have read a lot about this being banned and am wondering, was is right for my Dermatoligist to prescribe this?

It appears it can be prescribed as a compound but not as "straight" or "raw" HQ. There are many sites with this info if you use the Google feature and they all give the same info.

It also appears to be illegal to import (or cause to be imported) HQ into the UK in its raw/straight form.
