Fixed a tooth cap after root canal
    Hi,
I had my root canal done and then filled about 2 years back and then gradually the tooth broken from the side as it was not strong. When I visited the dentist, she advised me to get a tooth cap fixed to restore the tooth and use it normally which I did. It has not even been a month since I got it fixed and I am having pain in this tooth. I have been chewing and using this tooth normally for about 3 weeks. But now suddenly I am having this pain, why and what could it be? Does eating sweets cause this pain in this tooth... I am brushing my teeth with a dental tooth paste at present to reduce the pain... any advise! Thanks and regards.

You should go back to your dentist and have her check the bite. If the crown is too high it can cause sensitivity. It can be a very easy fix to your pain.
