They said it would have to be made n the spelling of his fathers name,everything have is in davison our marriage licence,home .cars.what should we do.what can we do?

My grandson was born2002 and my daughter thought a certain man was the father but he turned out not to be only after we had blood test done, now after 8 years he has chosen noto be my grndsons dad, either in word or deed. So my daughter wants to change his last name to her maiden name.

In both cases it depends somewhat on the State.
