Hi ,

I am currently on H4 visa. I have around 3 years of work exp in india with one of the top software company. My husband is moved to usa so I have to leave my job and shifted here on H4 visa status .

Its been 2 months I am searching for job and h1 sponsorship. I got a few calls but everyone has a problem with my visa status. I got few advices that its better if you can switch Ur visa to student visa and than you are able to get job.

Is it advisable to go for student visa and wait for 2 years and all or its better to wait for an employer to sponsor me H1??

Kindly guide me in this...

You can switch from H4 to H1 if you can find a job with sponsorship.. don't change to F1 if you have no intention to study.

But whatever calls I have received so far from the employers , they have only problem with my visa status.. its very difficult to get sponsorship nowadays...
