My kithen faucet lines hook up to the water source backwards can it be reversed?

You mean that when you turn the faucet to cold you get hot water, and when you turn it to hot you get cold water? Sounds like whoever installed the faucet got the feed lines reversed. Yes - this can be fixed by simply reversing the hot and cold feed lines.

That and you can reverse many cartridges if this is a cartridge faucet, is it? What brand? If you have knobs you can just switch the knobs. Whoever did the install messed up
