I think my starter is bad and I'm trying to find it to see if I can tap it with a hammer to make my 200 ford windstar van start. But I can't seem to find anything to tell me where it is located.

Try this, instead:

Start by removing and fully charging, or replacing, the battery. Most auto parts stores will test and charge batteries for free.
Already did that when I try to start it makes a clicking sound. Had auto zone check battery and alternator and they are both very strong.
Thanks for that info. I took my car to auto zone they checked the battery and the alternator and both were strong. When I try to crank it it makes a clicking sound.
If the starter motor doesn't turn, but the starter solenoid (relay) "clicks" when the ignition switch is turned to Start, the problem is with the battery, starter solenoid, or starter motor connections.
Easiest thing would likely be to install a new starter motor and solenoid.
