    My dishwasher was working just fine until I had my new kitchen,the dishwasher is always full of cloudy water at the end of each cycle,the kittchen fitters are saying its broken ,but it seems more like aplumbing problem to me

    Hi Whizzadora..

    Check the dishwasher discharge hose and see if it loops up higher than your disposal or the waste tee connection at the sink tailpiece... see image below.

    Here, if the dishwasher discharge hose doesn't loop up higher than the connection to the drain then waste water from the sink/disposal can fall down the dishwasher discharge hose OR the dirty water expelled by the dishwasher can fall back down the hose and end up in the dishwasher... pretty much presenting as you suggested yours does.

    Check for the high loop. If it is not present tie the hose up higher than the hose connection and see if that fixes this. Let us know what you discover.

    Thanks for that,I tried and it worked once then started to not empty again!. the check water light just keeps coming on...

    Remove filter screen on the bottom of the DW. Vacuum all water and food leftovers with shop-vac. Make sure there is nothing blocking pump suction opening. Reinstall the filter screen and run a cycle.

    If you have High Loop type of installation and your DW connects to Garbage Disposer, make sure the GC inlet is not blocked with food leftovers...

    Check it out and Let me know if the problem still persists...
