Can a 17 year old decide where he/ or she wants to live under Alabama law?

They can decide anything they want, they just can't move to who they want, I am sure like any 17 year old they will have an opinion and make a decission what they WANT.

But they have to live with whoever has legal custody though the courts. So if they want to live with the non custody parent, that parent will have to file in court for custody
