I have a Sears LTX 1000 mower. It is mowing uneven and it keeps breaking off the pins that holds the mower deck onto the tractor. I was told that the bearing needs to be replaced. My husband who is mechanical inclined said they are working properly. He claimed it was the spring that engages the blades so he disconnected it. In the meantime he thinks the mower is mowing even but the pins are still coming out.
I do all the mowing and I take a lot of proud in it. He does not understand since that is not his thing. Can someone please help me?
