Every time he and I hug he only gives me side hugs. Then I said to him one time that it wasn't a real hug and he asked how was it not and that I should telll him what a real hug is. One of my friends told him how to give me a hug ans she said from the front with both hands. He did it the next day. I told him that that was a real hug and he said he already knew how to give one. Why wouldn't he give me one before my friend told him how to?

Maybe he is uncomfortable with you right now? How long have you guys been dating? Or possibly he could be having some problems or some issues with you?

Has he given you face to face hugs in the past? And then stopped? Or never gave them?

If he's giving them to you now, I would probably let it go if that's the only thing bothering you. Maybe he's not ready for an intimate relationship?

Are there other things he does that make him seem more distant that you want to be? Also, your approximate ages? Are you teenagers or older?

But he says I love you to me.. were 15. I know it seems young.

He is giving you side hugs because face to face hugs probably result in him getting an erection. Leave him alone about the hugs. It's embarrassing him and confusing him. He likes you all right. I am changing my advice based on your other post.

15 is not too young to feel love but it's too young to act on it. Keep it light. You have plenty of time.
