Hi ,I am starting a cleaning company from ground zero without a business background and very lttle knowledge of bidding and the legal side of the business. I currently have resedential clients and I am looking to make this a legit business. I have a huge vision and hope someone out there is in the mood to help out a up a coming entrepreneur. With a business plan. Once you do it, the answer to your question will be revealed to you. Part of the research the business plan will FORCE you to do, you're DOING by asking your question here. All a business plan will do, is STRUCTURE and FOCUS your research so you eventually do the things that'll WORK, and you'll avoid doing the things that DON'T work.

Before computers, a business plan was a CHORE. Now, it's not. I like Business Plan Pro. It costs about $50.
