Can I take a car for which I signed in Maryland
Can I take a car for which I cosigned. I am in Maryland. Whenever the individual does not
Pay the car note, the bank takes it out of my account.

    Hello PD:

Nope. You BOTH own the car, and he's entitled to it just as much as you are. You CAN sue him, though, for all the good THAT'S going to do.

    I will disagree but agree,

A co/signer does not even own the car unless you had your name also put on the title, a co/signer merely owes for the car if the signer does not pay.

If you are listed on the title as joint owner, you may go and get your car, since you also own it. But then they can come and take it back, since they also own it.

If you are merely a co/signer you can not touch their car but would have to sue them.

You said they are taking it out of your bank, did you give them persmission to do this ? Did they get a judgement, if they did, and listed you, that means they also ruined your credit.
