Dryer Help: Dryer works fine and turns on fine but will stop heating after 1-2 minute
Hello. I have a Frigidaire Electric Dryer Model GLEQ215ESO. My dryer had a bad bearing and heating coil so I replace it about 6 months ago. It was working perfect up until a week ago when my cloth wasn't drying. I took a look at it and it seems to work fine for the first 2 minutes of use and then the heating coiling doesn't heat anymore after those 2 minutes.. Just blows air. Anyone have a idea on what the problem might be? Thanks

It sounds to me like the exhaust vent is clogged and the dryer is overheating. This is a safety issue, and so you should pull the dryer out from the wall and thoroughly clean the vent pipe. Also, go outside to where the vent exits your house and make sure it is clean there too.

    Best of luck,

Whirlpool dryer model lec8858eqo is not heating. All vents are clear, and the dryer blows cool air. Is it the heating element, named what we think is labeled block defective?
