Do I need to go to the ER?
I have been having extreme cramps even though I'm on the depo shot (because I more than likely have endotetriosis) so I went to the gyno and she found a cyst on my ovary.

I haven't bled AT ALL while on the shot, not even spotted and today I started bleeding out of no where. It isn't heavy but it seems like it's getting heavier.

I also have been having touble with bowel movements and can't go unless I take a laxative or stool softener.
I went to another doctor for this and I have an abdominal ultrasound scheduled for next week.

I'm not sure if these two things are related (possible endo on the bowel as well as other places or if two things adhered together) but hopefully I'll get them figured out.

I just don't know if I should be concerned about the bleeding... the only reason I am is because I DON'T bleed at all while on depo... so it's odd to me that it would randomly start now. I'm having some cramping, nothing too severe though.

    Hi, jamisloan!

I hope that you did go for someone to examine you for your physical problems and so they could discuss it with you, and that you have received some kind of treatment and that you're okay!

In answer to your question though...

You can see how long it took for someone to respond here from the time that you originally posted on this online site. So, maybe what you've been experiencing is serious or not, I don't really know. But, you might want to consider consulting someone where you're located by phone or in-person the next time you're really concerned about your health, before taking the time to ask about it on an online site.

Just my thoughts out of concern for you...

    Thanks!

    Let me ask you this...

Do you think that this is a life threatening emergency?

If so, go to the ER, but be prepared to wait for hours. You see, the ER is for EMERGENCIES. They are not there to diagnose health issues, but to respond to emergencies such as heart attacks, strokes, etc.

Personally, I believe that this can wait until your doctor's office is open.

Even though you typically don't bleed on depo, it's still possible and you may actually be having your period.
