    Us tax treaty with india
    I am a US citizen filing a US tax return. I receive interest income from funds at a bank in India. Taxes are withheld at source on the interest income. I also include the interest income on my US tax return and claim foreign tax credit by filing Form 1116. Is this methodology correct and efficient. If not what should I be doing?
