Today I was reading John 17 in which Jesus prayed to Lord the Father for Himself, for His disciples and for other believers. Verse 9 says,"I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me, for they are yours." Then in Jeremiah Lord God told Jeremiah," So do not pray for this people, or lift up a cry or prayer for them; for I will not hear them in the time that they cry out to Me because of their trouble."
I have a list of people who are both Christians and non Christians and I pray to Lord God for their salvation. If we tallk about pre-destination, then I know that if they are not in the list of Lord God they would not be saved.
My question is how do we know for whom should we pray and for whom not.
