What causes my maytag plus, refrigerator not to cool but my freezer works great?

It's the defrost heater.

1. Defrost heater faulty.
2. Defrost limit switch faulty.
3. Defrost timer faulty.

Any or all of these components will cause the fridge not to properly cool down.

Best have these components individually tested with a multitester to see which went bad.
