The starter makes loud clicking noise was told starter is bad so I replaced it from Auto Zone to no avail. The clicking noise is even louder. I also charged the battery because the owner ran it down trying to start it. She said it has had no prior problems starting until this. What is the next thing for me to check?

Are you sure the battery is, in fact, good? I suspect there's a problem with the battery.
