I ovulated on 07/01, had sex twice on the 3rd (used a condom, then withdrawal method). On the 5th, when I wiped there was spots of light blood. On the 8th, I wiped thick light pink musus. On the 10th we used a condom, but it broke! My period was due on the 14, but came on the 15th. I usually bleed 7 days, but this time it was only 3 1/2 days. I took a hpt, but it was negative. Could this be implantional bleeding? Could I have taken the hpt too soon? Also, can someone bleed through a pregnancy?

IF you know for sure that you ovulated on the first, you wouldn't get pregnant from sex on the third or the tenth.

However, most women don't know exactly when they ovulate and using ovulation calendars online or ovulation predictor kits only gives you an idea, not a definite.

If you ovulated slightly different from when you suspected you would, pregnancy might be possible. Your period may have just been off a bit, which can happen, but give it another week and try another test, or wait until your period is due next month and see what happens.

While you won't have a period during pregnancy, some women may have some bleeding, particularly in the early months.

You may want to consider a back up method of contraception if you decide not to use a condom every time.

I spotted pink mucus 1 week. Before my period (which usually last 6-7 days), but for the past 2 mons. It only lasted 4 days. I took a hpt the day after it ended to check, but it was negative. Because of the spotting, and short periods I wonder if I might be pregnant, but took the hpt too soon, and had a false negative. Is this possible? I was still having a reg. period with my first child before I found out I was 4 mon. pregnant. Could this be happeing again, or could it be something else?

Since you have had spotting/bleeding before in a pregnancy, why not see your gyn for a blood test.

The answer remains the same from your previous question... it could very well be perimenopause.

Since you are having irregular bleeding, and have had negative urine tests, time to see your doctor to determine the likely cause.
