    CAT is pulling HAIR out!
My 16 year old cat just started ripping out tufts of hair all over his body including legs.

He must be part "hair stylist" because it's actually a well balanced look.

I've examined his hair and skin carefully and don't see any little critters; there's no redness, sores or inflammation of the skin. Other than the hair pulling there is no change in behavior and apparent good health.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

    Thank You!

    Hair Damaging Behavior in Cats

Hope this helps! - but hrm.. maybe try one of those wide plastic cone collars they put on pets after surgery or to prevent licking/etc.

It may be a nervous or boredom thing. My cats too are pulling out their hair. Was there a change in lifestyle? I just got a new puppy which caused stress in my household. Maybe a change of diet or a new member. For the most part just try to discourage the pulling. Try bitter apple spray on the areas she is bitting. Also, just a precaution try using advantage for flee control. Just because you don't see them doesn't mean they aren't there.
