    Algebra II Cramer's Rule!
Ok, I have to apply Cramer's rule to this word problem... does anyone know how?

The orchestra had several musicians chosen for the city, county, and state orchestra. For the city orchestra, 50% of the percussion section was selected, 30% of the wind musicians , and 40% of the sting section. A total of 30 members were chosen for the city ochestra. The 17 members that were selected for thte county orchestra represented 20% of the string section, and 25% of the percussion section. How many members are in each section of the orchestra.

First make your equations, then go to:

I found purplemath a great review and teach aide when tutoring a friend at work last year. It's a great resource. I hope it helps :)

Wait a sec - is that all there is to the problem? What about the state orchestra? For a 3 x 3 matrix?
