Does emails show proof of a verbal agreement
My son's father and I decided that he would claim our son and he would give me half of the money he got in return. He called me and emailed me saying he got one thousand dollars back and he would send it to me. Told me in emails he would send it out today, he would never jap his son. Blah... He never sent the money though. I have the emails that obviously prove a verbal agreement. Why else would he be saying he would send me a check in the mail? Can I sue him for my half of the tax money?
