I am saying this because I am particularly interested in physics at this time and I think that science would be the most appropriat language for expressing our religon to non muslims.but most muslims seem to be far away from the scientific knowledge and seem to be backward.we muslims are not fully equipped to answer non muslims' arguments.it seems we lack intelligence to advance in science.this picture of muslims is un-understandeable.On the other hand I find the most brilliant physicist Stephen Hawking stillsearching for the cause of his birth i.e.he is still far away from"hidayat" even after such struggle.I found my grandmother(illetrate) much better than Stephen Hawking!I am still confused why it is that Allah has blessed nonmuslims with such scientific knowledge.

Because Allah (who is not my god) didn't bless anyone with anything Musim or not. Knowledge is earned through study and exploration. That is why the west is far more advanced than the Muslim world is.

Most Islamic religious leaders wish to control what information you have and have acess to. In the west you are free to learn what you are capable of learning and are willing to learn.

God blessed you with the ability to learn. What you do with that and how far you go with it up to you.

Believing something that is false is not knowledge, that is what the uneducated do. Just because an elder or Religious leader says something is so, doesn't make it so.

Simple anwer to all of this... no muslim nation is ahead of any western nation in Science or Physics. And haven't been for the last 1,000 years. You are only made ot believe this by religious leaders that feed you lie after lie. And shield you from the truth obout the outside world.

Think Muslims Created the COmputer? THink Muslims created the Internet... think Muslims created the computer operating systems? Nope... all were non-western Muslims.

Any Muslims travel to the Moon... any Muslims build a space station? What Muslims are top scientists? Physicists? Of course... you know the answer because I can't name one. Blame that on Islam and the Imams that what to control every part of your lives... They are tyrants that keep you from progressing like the rest of the world has.

Allah isn't our god... and I won't even say what we think about him... but its not nice. Our God blessed us with the ability to learn... Our form of government gave us the Tools to do so... without some idiot religious leader telling us what to think, and how to think. THe west does no tollerate Child molesters... and it doesn't tollerate treating women as second or third class citizens. Women are equals to man in non-muslim west, not virtual slaves.

Have you ever actually been outside a muslim area into the real world. We have electricv, Lights, Computers in our houses, We have INternet at home... TV's... we even have air conditioning and central heat. We don't NEED internet Cafe's because everyone has computers and we have free wifi at the Cafes, I have Internet, Cable TV and Phone in my home via fiber optic cable, I have several Cars... we have stores to buy things... and don't have to haggle with Mohammed on the corner to get some goat milk (yuck). Or females get to go to school, and GASP even have Jobs. And Drive cars if they want. We don't nake our wome hide under bags.
OUr Hositals actually have durgs , Qualified Doctors, and any of the specialty equipment ready to use most of the Muslim world DREAM about having in their medical centers.

To answer your question, history shows that civilisations flourish and then decline. When they flourish they show great leadership and innovation but in decline they pass the baton to others. Islamic civilisation has been in decline for a long time, in many places just at subsistence level, that is not an environment where science and technology flourish. Religion doesn't lead to development, you can see in all societies that it leads to stagnation unless thought is allowed to be expressed and refreshed. Islam as much as any other and more than most has stymied thought, by it's emphasis on rote learning

First, Muslims are not just in the Middle East, there are Muslims in Africa, in America, in China.

Those living in America have the same education and same advancement as all Americans. The Muslims living in China are educated to the same levels as all others in China.

The education system in some society is behind others. It has to do with where the government and society puts its importance.

The issue with science is often, many who go into science, lose or question part or all of their religious beliefs.

And of course, science is no way to explain religion, religion is explained though the Holy Teachings of that faith.
