Kitchen Sink water backing into Utility sink in basement
I have modified ranch, with kitchen sink with Garbage disposer on first floor and in the basement I have Utility sink next to washing machine.

Water is backing up in that basement sink when ever there is large volume of water is released like washing dishes and running disposer .

Stink smell along with food particles were coming out in basement Sink. Plumber came and put the snake but still when I release large volume of water from kitchen sink it is backing up the sink, I am afraid the same thing will happen again because water is coming with gurgling noise into the basement sink now.

Basement drain great with no problems , only problem occure when I release large volume of water but when washing dishes you need that much water in kitchen sink.

    Please help me.

    Hi Putrevus...

I'd suggest that you call the plumber back or even call in a drain cleaning company and have them snake the drain again. It sounds like it wasn't cleared well enough the first time.

After I do this kind of job I will then fill both the kitchen sink and the utility sink with HOT water and then I'll drain them at the same time to wash the pipes clear and also to check for maximum drainage.

Make sure the plumber or the next guy in line does this test to be sure you will be all set for awhile!
