How do I fix my Rudd Air Conditioning Unit outside fan blades from blowing downward?
I have a Rudd Air Conditioning Unit. My outside unit has two fans and one fan burned up. I had it replaced and now the replaced fan blows downwards instead of upwards. How do I fix it to blow the air up instead of down?

Replace the motor with one that turns in the right direction
Unless the new motor was a universal that the direction can be changed

I thought that all outside units the fans were to blow upwards and not downwards towards the coils. Is that not correct? Are they suppose to blow downwards?

All I`ve ever seen blows out the top
By doing this,it is pulling the outside air from the sides of unit and pulling the hot air out that the compressor generates
So your new motor is turning in the wrong direction
Are you sure you didn`t put the blade on wrong

Even if the blade was put on backwards it would still blow the same direction, either reverse motor rotation if so equipped or get the right motor.
