Just installed a new condenser mortor and fan blade, the compress will not stay on I have the purple wire going to L1 and the black going to L2 the two brown off the new mortow going to the new cap wellow and red stayed on the odld cap. What did I do wrong?

Look for a wiring digram for a Lennox Hs9

New motor has its own diagram posted on the side of motor housing, sometimes its on the box.

Opps sorry, red wire from a cap the yellow comes from an inclosed relay, possible the run relay.
