Please tell us the brand and the model number of your faucet, or post a picture of it, Thanks.
John
There is no brand
Can you post a picture of the faucet? or tell us if this is a kitchen faucet lavatory sink faucet or Shower/Bath tub faucet, Thanks.
John
It's a tub faucet... two handle..
Ahh. We them stems and washers for single things.
You probably have to renew the seat or replace it if possible.
HowStuffWorks "How To Repair a Faucet Valve Seat"
I replaced the stem and the cartridge... what is a seat? (the little black rubber thing that goes over the little spring... I replaced that)
Also, there is no washer
Please take a picture and post it will help a lot, Thanks.

Hello Helpdoit,
You may have dirt inside the hot side of the faucet, lets Shut off the water to the tub, remove the cartridge, turn on the water for a few seconds to flush out the dirt, install the cartrdge and try it see if your problem is fixed, good luck.
John
That did the trick afaroo... thank you very much!!
Thanks for the update, I am glad that we could help.
Best Regards,
John
