How do determine if my toilet lange is leaking water?
I have a floating floor in the bathroom that is now taking on water and bubbling and buckling so I know I have a leak in the toilet but cannot see it. It appears as though it is leaking from the flange and flowing under the floor. I have only one toilet in the house and cannot afford to have it our of service for long. Please share some advice on the best way to fix the problem.

    Hi, bearokeefe!

Was the flooring that you have in your bathroom recently installed, please?

    Thanks!

Who install flooring? Flooring should be installed around flange. Was a new wax ring used to reset toilet. Remove toilet, clean all of the old wax ring away, install new wax ring, if toilet flange is below top surface of flooring, install two wax rings. Or install a flange extension ring(s) bringing flange up to 1/2" above floor. Then install new wax ring and reset toilet. When you reset toilet you should be able to feel the toilet compressing the wax ring.
