Tell them all contact will be done in writing, and send me a letter.

Tell them nothing, don't even admit it is you.

Write them a letter demanding they contact you only in writing

The above advice is correct. Believe me, when faced with an deposition, all of the data collected about you is in writing, recorded and transcribed. To scare off a predator, I mean creditor, inform them that you are recording their phone call. They will most likely hang up. They will call back. Monitor how many times they do and document everything. Report any and all abuse. And seriously, record it all. Don't show emotion, be factual. Factually record their call, their extension number, try to get their last name, match each question with one for them without answering theirs. They will go away once they realize that you are not going to be intimidated. Fight back! Or don't take the call!
