    Ge profile refrigerator not cooling
Ge profile not cooling seems that the cond not running. Fan is operating. No clicking coils are neither hot nor cold. Seems like it may be the overload switch(dont know where it is) or the defroster is stuck in defrost mode. All started yesterday with the power going out.

Your fridge may be fried due to the power spike happening when power went out. I always keep a power surge cord on ALL my appliances - not just my computer - in my home. I have power surge cords on everything I want to keep.

Your defroster may be toast and needs replaced components. This could be one of these items that went:

    1. Defrost heater faulty.
    2. Defrost limit switch faulty.
    3. Defrost timer faulty.

If you don't know how to properly test each component or you don't have a multitester to do it with by all means please call an honest repairman to do it for you.

I think that the condenser motor got fried from what symptoms you are saying above.

Also, if your fridge got fried if you have home insurance you may be able to put in a claim if the entire unit can't be repaired depending on your deductible of course.
