    Right now its uf wire but some goes threw flood zone and needs to be wet loc

    UF is what to use, direct bury, 18" underground. 14AWG should be acceptable but depending on the distance, you may need 12AWG. How far is the wire going to be, you mention flood zone?

    Branch circuit size for a motor is 125% of the nameplate amps, so, 12.5 amps x 125% = 15.625, so #12 copper is minimum. Larger if over 150 feet.

    UF cable should be fine for a flood zone. Why do you think it is not?
