We had a storm and our AC was on, power went out all day. After the power came back on, the AC started working fine for sometime but after few minutes, the Thermostat (Honeywell) went blank! We check if it has tripped and put the plug on and off in the AC controls. Nothing works! Can someone please help?

Do something simple. Turn off the furnace with the breaker for about 3 minutes and turn it back on.
