On the face of the bill are 3 women & 2 children along with a red seal. On the back 2 men, Fulton & Morse. I would say the condition is fair with a heavy fold mark vertically down the middle.

Watch August 16, 2010 Pawn Stars episode. In Au to Mint condition the bill was sold for $8500 at the shop. Who knows what an auction might bring.

I would refer it to a pro coin dealer, but get sevaeral quotes. Another way is check the internet: Ebay, private coin dealers etc. The appraiser said it was rare, so I would guess at least up to $1000. There is a book called the black book of US currency at bookstores like Barnes and Noble. A lot of the price guides just say ABP( about buying price, low grade) to good ,very good etc. Have it apraised or send it to a grading service if you want to spend a little money. That way there will be no guesswork and buyers like to buy graded coins. Is that enough help?
