Jurisdiction, yes. By venue to you mean from a lower Court to a superior Court or the other way around?

    Need more info.

Where and who is making the request and why.

    Hello c:

I read your other question. Please keep them all on one thread. If, what you mean by "changing jurisdiction", you mean one state or county filing charges for another state or county where the crime happened??

The answer is no. You must be tried in the jurisdiction where the crime occurred.

Venue can be changed, but the jurisdiction remains the same. But, you probably mean something else, doncha?

JudyKayTee agrees: I love you but if you can't get a fair trial "here" you can ask that the case be moved to "there."
    Hello again, Judy:

True. But, should you be convicted "there", you'll be moved back to be sentenced and monitored under the original courts jurisdiction.

Or not. I love you too.
