    I have a well and I have no water to the house
    I have well water and last night we had a bad storm now today we have no water coming to our home what needs to be done

    Checking the breaker is the first step. If the breaker is on, then pull the grey cover off the switch and see if the points are closed (touching). If that is the case, then you will use a voltmeter to be sure power is getting to the wire leading to the pump.

    Is your pump above ground or in the well?

    Also check your circuit breaker box inside your home or in the garage. The circuit breaker for the pump may be open.

    If you know you have power going from the switch to the pump, then it is possible a lightning strike fried the pump. Your home insurance MIGHT cover that.
