    Firefox crashes
Using Firefox 3.0.13 and have been for quite some time. Not that nothing has ever crashed before, but this thing happening now is new as of the past couple of weeks. The browser just closes down and I get a message that it crashed, and it offers to allow me to go back to where I was before it crashed. (I'm a little surprised it does that.)

It's done it 3 times tonight when I was on here, and all 3 times was when I was scrolling (with the button on the mouse). I think, but cannot quite remember, it's been when I've gone to another tab and then returned to an original tab and then tried to scroll. And suddenly, boom, browser's gone. It's also done this crash a couple of other times over the past couple of weeks.

Anyone had any such issues going on?

I did get this info from the error message, but I don't think it's very meaningful:

The thing where it says "Add-on" was way longer when I posted it. That's kind of weird.

This sounds like simple extension incompatibility.

    Time to update your browser.
    FF 3.0.x is ANCIENT.
FF 3.6.x has been out for ages and is extremely stable.

Don't worry about extensions as they are checked and upgraded during the process.

Funny, my brother started having problems right after installing 3.6. I also just realized it only happens on this site.
